Where it began.

It all began on Alvin Dedeaux’s birthday in the winter of 2018. As a man who has everything he could ever want in life, all he wanted was to pick up trash off of his favorite water, the beautiful Colorado River.

That day the LoCo Trash Bash was born! With some very generous sponsors, and a lot of selfless volunteers who love the river as much as Alvin does, the LoCo Trash Bash to date has extracted over 45 TONS of trash from the river and banks of the Colorado River!
