LoCo Trash Bash 2021.

  • Our 3rd year just got bigger.

The third year turnout made the difference. Over 175 volunteers collected almost 10 tons of trash out of the river and off the banks of 40 miles of river.

    Totally Full.

A dumpster at the FM 973 bridge filled beyond capacity. Lots of tires in the river which always accounts for a big portion of the trash taken out of the river! This was just one of 2 dumpsters and a large trash trailer we filled up that day.

    Grassroot efforts made the difference.

Plastic bottles account for most of the trash we see on the river. Some places on the river are covered with plastic bottles. So if you hate seeing plastic bottles in our waterways as much as we do, you found the right cleanup!

    Getting it done.

A huge part of the LoCo Trash Bash is community. We all love the river and it's hands down the best place to meet up with your friends!
